McIsaac, Ruth Betts work hard in playoffs

Volleyball teams from Ecole McIsaac School and Ruth Betts Community School competed hard in this year’s league playoffs. The finals saw the first-ranked McIsaac team against the third-ranked Ruth Betts team.

Bombers get 3 in final period, fall 5-3

Three goals in the final period weren’t enough for the Flin Flon Bombers as they lost 5-3 to the Melville Millionaires. Visiting the Whitney Forum last Saturday, Nov. 30, the Millionaires led the Bombers 3-0 heading into the third.

Creighton continues to benefit from NSCR

The Yorkton Terriers have moved seven places in this week’s CJHL Top 20 rankings. The SJHL team ranked 15th last week and are now sitting in eighth place – just above the MJHL’s Portage Terriers.
