This week is a busy one for the Flin Flon Bombers both on and off the ice. The team will play three games in four nights, starting with a road game in Melfort against the Mustangs tonight. They will return home for a pair of games this weekend.

Power play key to home win

SJHL opening weekend is in the books as the Flin Flon Bombers earned three out of a possible four points against the Nipawin Hawks. Over 1,200 fans took in the home opener at the Whitney Forum on Friday, where the Bombers beat the Hawks 3-2.

Kodiaks earn big win on home turf

The Creighton Kodiaks continue to make history as they earned their first football win on home soil last week. Creighton Community School joined the Northern Saskatchewan Football League this year and remain undefeated with a perfect 2-0 record.
