Bombers split preseason weekend

The Flin Flon Bombers split a pair of weekend games against MJHL opponents. On Friday, the OCN Blizzard were in town.

Chris Bortis was this year’s top golfer at the Walt Cunningham Labour Day Classic tournament. The Phantom Lake Golf Course saw 96 golfers hit the links for the three-day tournament.

Greens in top-notch condition, lots of play left

There is still plenty of golf left to be played at the Phantom Lake Golf Course. Golf pro Chris Doyle says the greens are in the best shape of the year. “The course is in excellent condition,” said Doyle, in his second season at PLGC.
