Puck drops tonight on regular season

The waiting is over as another exciting season of Flin Flon Bombers hockey starts tonight. The Bombers will host the Hawks in the first game of a home-and-home series that concludes in Nipawin tomorrow.

Win caps preseason on high note

The Flin Flon Bombers improved to 4-1-1 in the preseason after beating the Swan Valley Stampeders 5-2. Simon Hofley made 22 saves to earn the win for the Bombers last Friday, Sept. 12 in the final tune-up before the regular season.

The Creighton Kodiaks will open up their volleyball season this weekend as they host the first tournament of the school year. The girls and boys teams will welcome their opponents to the Creighton Community School gymnasium, today and tomorrow.
