The Creighton Kodiaks made history last Thursday evening as they won their first-ever football game. The team dressed 20 male players and picked up a 39-21 road win over the Sandy Bay Timberwolves.

The team dressed 20 male players and picked up a 39-21 road win over the Sandy Bay Timberwolves.

The Kodiaks earned the first 14 points to take a strong lead over the Timberwolves. Sandy Bay tied the game going into the second half, but the Kodiaks pulled ahead quickly. Creighton earned two more touchdowns and a field goal before Sandy Bay made their final play of the game with
a touchdown.

The Kodiaks will host their first home game on Thursday as they welcome Cumberland House to the Creighton Community Soccer Field at 4 p.m.
