If the weather hasn’t tipped you off that hockey season is just around the corner, the Flin Flon Bombers are planning a couple of events to help you get in the spirit.
Tomorrow, the team’s annual golf tournament will be held at the Phantom Lake Golf Course.
You can sign up your foursome at the Bomber office today. Each group will be matched up with a Bomber. Golf will start with a shotgun start at 11:45 and conclude with prizes and a steak dinner.
Next Thursday, the Bombers will be hosting a block party at Pioneer Square from 4-6. The players will be on hand, as well as the Bomber Bus. People will be able to enjoy a free hot dog, and can also purchase season tickets at the early bird prices for one last day.
This will be your chance to meet the 2014-15 Flin Flon Bombers team, and wish them luck ahead of the season opener on Friday, Sept. 19.
