The Creighton Kodiaks hit the field Thursday for their season opener a week later than originally planned. The Kodiaks were initially scheduled to visit Air Ronge last Thursday, Sept. 8, but the host team preferred to have more time to prepare.

The Flin Flon Bombers head into Friday’s regular-season opener on a high note. The Bombers went 4-0 in the exhibition season following a 5-3 home win against the MJHL’s OCN Blizzard last Friday, Sept. 9.
