Roach, 18, was a key part of Flin Flon’s success last season, scoring 26 points in 50 games from the blueline and adding 12 points in 16 playoff games.

He received the Darcy Bancroft Memorial Award as Flin Flon’s top blueliner last season. He was also named the SJHL’s Defenceman of the Week three times.

“We felt that Roach needed a change of scenery,” said Bombers head coach and general manager Mike Reagan. “We’re excited about bringing in a guy like Shawn with the characteristics and experience he has.”

Weber, also 18, comes to Flin Flon following a 23-point season with the Oil Barons. Standing 6 ft and weighing 176 pounds, the Lloydminster, AB product will not be the biggest player in the Bomber lineup, but he hopes to be a crucial part of the team.
