The Reminder is pleased to present the Creighton town council and Denare Beach village council candidates, in their own words. Candidates were presented with questions and provided word limits for their answers.

Introduce yourself to the public. My name is Neal Andrusiak. I have been married to my wife Tracy for 22 years. We have three daughters. I work at Stittco Energy in Flin Flon. I have been on Creighton town council for the past four years.

What would be your top priorities if elected? My top priority would be to try to resolve the issues with the foul sewer gas smell associated with the line from Mosher Lake.

What would be your top priorities if elected? I am a strong believer in fiscal responsibility and the long-term feasibility for our community. I would like to see the council provide the best resources for its residents, but not deplete the finances.

What would be your top priorities if elected? If elected, my priorities will continue to be maintaining infrastructure; in particular waste water and water treatment plants as #1 priority. Safe water and sewage is paramount.

What would be your top priorities if elected? My top priority if elected is dealing with the break-ins and vandalism at the Beach right now. I don’t believe that it’s being completely dealt with. The RCMP are doing their job.

Introduce yourself to the public. My name is Colleen Stallard. My husband Dwight and I have been residents of Creighton for a great many years. We were both raised here. Our son, Jeff, grew up here and attended Creighton Community School.
