Trevor Miller I think Mr. Pallister is reaching with this one, especially considering how easily some of the signs could be confused with the federal Tories’ “Economic Action Plan” signage.

Is the cost of living in Flin Flon spiralling out of control? Are taxes and utility bills far too high? Is municipal spending unreasonable? These questions, as common as they have become in recent years, are completely subjective.

“Callin’ out around the world, are you ready for a brand new beat? Summer’s here and the time is right for dancin’ in the street.” So goes the first verse of the 1964 Martha and the Vandellas classic.

The City of Flin Flon is not enemy number one. Yes, you may not agree with everything they do. Yes, your property taxes and utility bills are going up.
