With the Flin Flon Bombers forced to trim their roster this week, Matthew Smishek found himself the odd man out.

École McIsaac School’s grade 7/8 girls’ and boys’ volleyball teams stepped up their play at a tournament in The Pas at Scott Bateman Middle School last weekend.

The Flin Flon Bombers were flying high in November. Now they hope to keep things going in December and into 2016. The squad had six wins, two losses and a shootout loss during the month.

Hapnot Collegiate hosted the JV AAA Girls Volleyball Provincials from Thursday, Nov. 19 to Saturday, Nov. 21, with about 150 athletes from ten teams competing for the top spot in the tournament.
