The Flin Flon Bombers can't buy a win on the road. Nipawin dealt the Bombers a 5-1 loss Friday night, with the home team getting a stranglehold on the game early.

Competing while wearing the Flin Flon Bombers’ maroon and white is an important part of Nick Shumlanski’s identity. “Being a Bomber means a lot to me,” Shumlanski said.

It was an overtime thriller that didn't end how Bomber fans may have hoped. The Flin Flon Bombers played a solid 60 minutes of hockey against the Estevan Bruins Thursday night, but ultimately lost 4-3.

The streak is over. The Flin Flon Bombers downed the Notre Dame Hounds, 4-3, on Saturday night to end an eight game losing streak.

Wednesday's Bomber game had it all - two hot goalies, an attempted moose leg theft and a big win for Flin Flon. The Bombers took down the top team in SJHL, the Melfort Mustangs, with a 2-1 decision.
