A point is a point, but the Flin Flon Bombers couldn't earn two Saturday night. The Bombers, despite a late offensive flurry and a 4-on-3 power-play in overtime, lost 2-1 to the Kindersley Klippers.

The Flin Flon Bombers owned the ice all game against Kindersley Friday night, earning a 5-1 win. The Bombers took the lead in the first period, with reigning SJHL rookie of the week Ethan Daniels opening the scoring with his third goal this season.

The streak is over. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams made it to the final game at this year’s Zone 11 tournament, held in Flin Flon last weekend. However, both teams fell in their tournament finals.
