COVID-19 is seeing an uptick in Saskatchewan, with eight new cases found Friday and another 11 Saturday. Most of the 19 combined cases - seven June 19 and another seven reported June 20 - have been reported in the far north of the province.

More COVID-19 cases have been found in Saskatchewan - nine more people have gotten sick in the past 24 hours, including seven far north residents.

Manitoba’s COVID-19 reopening will take another step forward this weekend. Premier Brian Pallister announced June 17 that June 21 would be the starting date for phase three of the province’s reopening.

After recent increases in COVID-19 cases in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Tuesday brought some good news - no new cases in Manitoba and only one in Saskatchewan. The sole case reported by either province June 16 was found in Saskatoon.
