What is a wax mannequin? You may know this history but I didn’t so here it is! When they opened King Tut’s tomb in the 1920s, they found a torso with exactly the same measurements as the pharaoh, standing beside his clothing chest.

Only two months ago, A Northern Juried Art Exhibition wasn’t even a hazy idea. Last week, it was held at the NorVA Centre, after a logistical and organizational rush.

What a weekend we have experienced with the Flin Flon Arts Council’s production of the Flin Flon Community Choir’s La Grande Opera with Dustin Hiles. It was really glorious – this performance broke the mold.

No time to rest in Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach in the next couple of weeks, so let’s get right to it. This weekend Johnny’s Social Club is the venue for the lovely and talented Kenzie Jane and Friends.
