What’s happening in the Flin Flon and area arts scene this month, inquiring minds want to know? Well if they don’t they should because, as per usual, it’s pretty exciting. Opening on Mar.

Jennifer McLean and Mark Kolt are hoping a nation-wide musical talent search will shine a light, both on their talents and Flin Flon musicians.

On a Tuesday evening at the front of Hapnot Collegiate’s Dorothy Ash Theatre, kids run excitedly around the room, gesturing, shouting, and immersing themselves in the art of acting. It’s theatre class, and this behaviour is perfectly acceptable.

C.C. Trubiak is stepping back in his cowboy boots for a nationwide online contest. The Flin Flon-based musician has put his name forward for this year’s CBC Searchlight competition.
