Don’t count out the Youth Arts Council. While the group may have lost some key members recently, there are plans underway for the council’s second-ever performance.

Ah, dear readers, let me start with an apology.

Take a chance on them – the Flin Flon Arts Council has announced the performers for the group’s upcoming production of musical hit Mamma Mia.

Preparations are underway for next summer’s second installment of the Blueberry Jam Music Gathering. A general meeting was held on Nov. 1 to name board members and discuss ways to expand the gathering for next year.

We came, we saw and we conquered at the Manitoba Arts Network (MAN) Showcase Conference in Portage la Prairie the weekend of Oct. 26.

CBC’s North Country radio program is back on the air, and its new host hopes to bring a new feeling to the show.

Flin Flon Home Routes is in action this week featuring Montreal blues performer Adam Karsh. He has played all across North America and has crossed Canada by train, giving performances in literally hundreds of venues.
