Choir will perform at famed New York venue for third time in April 2020

As Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach gear up for summer, arts and cultural happenings just keep on coming. The big event in this time period is the opening night of the Main ARTery public art gallery on Main Street in Flin Flon and in Creighton.

Flin Flonners won six awards and received nine top-three finishes at the recent Northern Juried Art Show in Thompson.

The sweet taste of Blueberry Jam seems to have reached across the Atlantic. More than 70 separate acts are now confirmed to be playing at this summer’s Blueberry Jam Musical Gathering according to organizers.

Days before the debut of the Flin Flon Community Choir’s production of Mamma Mia, the cast and crew behind the show are hard at work ensuring each detail is pitch perfect. The rehearsals are intense, done at full show speed and volume.

A painting that has been on display in the Flin Flon Public Library since 1973 is going on the road. An art exhibition funded by Heritage Canada entitled “Company Towns” has selected a painting from Flin Flon.

Dance has taken Flin Flonner Kristy Janvier around the world and back. Now, she is sharing her experience with her hometown.

The first Flin Flon Luncheon in 2019 was held at the Viscount Gort Hotel on Friday, March 1, 2019. Thanks to the phoning committee, The Reminder and the Flin Flon Heritage Project, news of the luncheon reached far and wide.
