Stuck in your home and looking for something to lift your spirits? Flin Flon photographer Sian King has an idea that may help.

With everyone practicing physical distancing to try and stay healthy, there is not much arts activity happening in our town at the moment. While that is a good and laudable thing, it leaves this intrepid columnist with little to report.

The NorVA Centre has shut its doors due to the danger of the COVID-19, but that isn’t stopping area artists from showing off what they’ve been working on.

The Flin Flon Arts Council hosted “Inspiration 3.0 - Developing a Northern Vision” last month.

When browsing local art, it’s not hard to pick out a Karen Clark painting. Her wide brushed acrylic style is complemented by a stark background coat, usually a bright colour like orange or pink.

In response to the COVID-19, the Flin Flon School Division (FFSD) will postpone all extracurricular events.
