Creighton fire chief Robert Larocque and Dustin Boucher, vice-president and incoming president of the Flin Flon Kinsmen Club, show off a rescue boat purchased for the Creighton Fire Department with a donation of nearly $6,000 from the service club.

Tanya Benoit, Tommy Barr, Taylor Davidson and Cait Bailey handed out pop, burgers and Jumpstart merchandise at a fundraising barbecue outside of Flin Flon’s Canadian Tire last Saturday, June 11. Benoit said the event raised more than $2,000.

Flin Flon’s Main Street is being lined with new trash and recycling receptacles (pictured, front). Eleven units will be bolted to cement pads, ensuring they will not be knocked over.
