Flin Flon’s Main Street is being lined with new trash and recycling receptacles (pictured, front). Eleven units will be bolted to cement pads, ensuring they will not be knocked over. Charles Boulet, director of works and operations for the city, said the idea is to allow pedestrians to dispose of both their garbage and their recyclables in one stop. The new units replace older receptacles (background), which will be refurbished and relocated to other parts of the community. The new units are expected to be fully installed by next week.
