Hooper heads to NCAA Div. I American Int'l College: Higgins joins York Lions

Four new players have already committed to join the Flin Flon Bombers next season. The first signing of the year following the team’s spring camp was announced May 12, with the club signing forward Tristan Lemyre.

The new season is underway for Flin Flon Creighton Minor Ball divisions and some interesting changes are in store for players and families if Mother Nature avoids dumping more snow on the diamond.

One of northern Manitoba’s most successful hockey teams has changed hands. The sale of the OCN Blizzard was confirmed by the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) and the club on May 14.

Mike Reagan still has unfinished business after 12 years as the Flin Flon Bombers’ head coach and general manager. Reagan signed a new two-year deal with the club May 6, extending his term to the end of the 2020-2021 season.

It was a very successful hockey season for Tyson Empey and the State University of New York College at Geneseo men’s hockey team.

A handful of Flin Flon bantam players participated in the 2019 Director’s Cup Prospects tournament in Winnipeg recently.
