The Flin Flon Bombers held another successful spring camp this month. The event, held at Saskatoon’s Agriplace Ice Sports from May 4 to 6, featured 115 hockey players who hope to one day play for one of the most historic junior hockey teams.

While most hockey players are winding down their seasons in April, Wyatt Stinton’s season is just heating up. The Channing hockey player took part in the Hockey Hall of Fame Legends Tournament on April 2.

At the Flin Flon Bombers’ Spring Camp this weekend the team will be looking for more than just hockey talent. “We are placing a high importance on character and work ethic,” head coach and general manager Mike Reagan said.

After making a big splash at their year-end water show, the Flin Flon Aqua Doves are already getting ready for next year. The season has seen the club and its members make big strides, with more swimmers entering high-level competitions.

The City of Flin Flon is hoping to make flag football a Flin Flon summer sport.
