The Flin Flon General Hospital and Personal Care Home will share in government funding to upgrade health-care facilities. Health Minister Sharon Blady this week announced more than $450,000 for 11 projects within the Northern Health Region.

A revamped section of Highway 10, five km outside Flin Flon, opened to traffic this week as crews removed temporary detours (one of which is pictured on the left). The section, which stretches about three km, is to be paved as early as 2016.
