Flin Flon’s venerable Trout Festival has once again been pulled from the brink of oblivion. The festival’s annual general meeting last week saw a largely new executive take over, ensuring the summer tradition continues in 2015.

The Flin Flon Recycling Centre received three new doors thanks to a $1,600 grant from Flin Flon Neighbourhood Revitalization.

The Lord’s Bounty Food Bank What it does: Offers supplementary food to anyone who needs it. Provides emergency hampers to any who have missed the Elks and Salvation Army hamper programs. Adopts a family at Christmastime.
