New doors open at Recycling Centre

The Flin Flon Recycling Centre received three new doors thanks to a $1,600 grant from Flin Flon Neighbourhood Revitalization.

Deb Odegaard, administrator of the Flin Flon Recycling Centre, accepted a $1,600 cheque from Laurence Gillespie of Flin Flon Neighbourhood Revitalization for the purchase of the three doors – one overhead garage door and two side entrance doors.

The Flin Flon Recycling Centre received three new doors thanks to a $1,600 grant from Flin Flon Neighbourhood Revitalization.
The new doors, two of which are picture  with a third in the back of the building, were part of upgraded that also included a new hot water tank.
With the upgrades carrying a total price tag of $8,000, the Recycling Centre also received support through a grant from Hudbay and donations from the Northern Neighbours Foundation, Flin Flon Kinsmen and Kinette clubs, Flin Flon Lions Club and North of 53 Consumers Co-op.
