TORONTO — Veteran defensive back DaShaun Amos had a hearing with the CFL on Tuesday regarding his hit on Ottawa Redblacks quarterback Dru Brown.

TORONTO — Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Trevor Harris and defensive back Destin Talbert of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats were the top players in the CFL's weekly honour roll Tuesday.

TORONTO — The Argonauts have signed offensive lineman Shane Richards, who Toronto selected first overall in the 2019 CFL draft. Richards played 16 games with Edmonton last year, making 12 starts at right guard.

OTTAWA — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats had plenty to cheer about following a 30-15 victory over the Ottawa Redblacks Sunday night. Not only was this the fourth straight win for the Tiger-Cats (4-2) but they’re now first in the CFL's East Division.

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — The Texas Fury Texans and Jaguars Elite won titles in the NFL Flag Championships on Sunday. The Texans beat the Bad Rabbits Cowboys 19-0 to win the High School Girls division.

VANCOUVER — Even after a dominant win, Trevor Harris and his team see room for improvement. The Saskatchewan Roughriders struck early on Saturday and jumped out to a 17-1 lead over the B.C. Lions before the end of the first quarter.

OTTAWA — Sunday’s game is as close to a must-win as you can get for the Ottawa Redblacks.

VANCOUVER — James Butler doesn’t mind standing outside of the spotlight. And on a B.C. Lions offence featuring the likes of quarterback Nathan Rourke and receivers Justin McInnis and Keon Hatcher, a running back might skirt attention. Not Butler.

MONTREAL — Davis Alexander remains undefeated in the CFL after rallying for an epic comeback Thursday night, but the Montreal Alouettes might have to carry on without him once again.
