It will surprise no one that Gerard Lamontagne walked unencumbered and uncontested into the presidency of the Snow Lake Chamber of Commerce during the group’s annual general meeting, held Sept. 17 in the Legion basement.

Dear Editor, I was surprised to read the editorial suggesting it doesn’t matter if a candidate is from our area (“Southern rep not a deal-breaker,” Local Angle , Oct. 9). I disagree.
