Flin Flon School Division cross-country skiers came out on top at the Saskatchewan School Ski Championships held last weekend in La Ronge. The team includes students from Ruth Betts Community School, École McIsaac School and Hapnot Collegiate.

Creighton’s Senior A Girls Basketball team went 3-0 defeating Preeceville, Canora, and Naicam to win the Norquay tournament February 26 and 27.

Flin Flon skiers fared well at the Saskatchewan Provincial Championships last weekend, with several bringing home medals from the event. Thirteen young skiers competed at the event, which was hosted by the Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club.

Flin Flon Bombers centre Alex Smith has been named the Sherwood Division’s Player of the Year. The 20-year-old Edmonton product is now a finalist for the SJHL’s RBC Player of the Year award.
