Flicker of candles illuminate memories

The bright orange flicker of candles illuminated local cemeteries as residents remembered dearly departed loved ones. Encased in star-shaped ice sculptures, hundreds of graveside Memory Candles were lit by volunteers this past Sunday, Nov. 24.

MLA optimistic over mining’s future

The Flin Flon School Division will consider operating its own daycare, but not all trustees think it’s a good idea. Trustees voted 6-1 Tuesday to refer the issue of a school-based daycare to their Strategic Planning Committee for discussion.
