Manitoba Votes: Early results show Lindsey lead

The first polling results for the Flin Flon riding have been counted. With four of 57 polls reporting, Tom Lindsey leads with 131 votes. Theresa Wride, running for the Progressive Conservative party, sits second with 60 votes.

With four of 57 polls reporting, Tom Lindsey leads with 131 votes. Theresa Wride, running for the Progressive Conservative party, sits second with 60 votes. Liberal candidate James Lindsay is third with 18, while Saara Murnick has received 12 votes for the Greens.

Out of the four northern ridings, NDP incumbent Amanda Lathlin has been considered a likely winner in The Pas-Kameesak with 866 votes with 18 of 54 polls reporting. PC candidate Ron Evans has received 290 votes, while Green candidate Ralph McLean has received 156 votes. Ken Brandt, running for the provincial Liberals, has received 39 votes.

Thompson is seeing NDP candidate Danielle Adams lead through nine of 53 polls with 409 votes so far. Kelly Bindle, the PC incumbent, sits second with 276 votes. Meagan Jemmett with the Greens has 49 votes, while Darla Contois has 22 for the Liberals.

Twelve out of 54 polls are reporting in Keewatinook, but NDP candidate Ian Bushie has jumped out to a huge lead with 381 votes to PC Arnold Flett’s 71 and Liberal Jason Harper’s 58.
