Long-time resident of Flin Flon Edith Mason, wife of the late William (Bill) Mason, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Flin Flon General Hospital, at 88 years of age.
Edith is survived by her three children, Sharon, Shirley (Mike), Hedley (Marica); seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Edith was predeceased by her parents, William and Emily Yeo. Her brothers Percy (Jessie) and son Victor. Brother Alf (Elsie), sister Vera Jensen (Tom), also Bills parents, brothers Vic (Edith), Henry(Effie) Mason and sister Ethel (Cecil) Short. Son-in-law Metro Grocholski, also twin baby boys
Edith was born January 8, 1926 and grew up in Stonewall, Manitoba. She worked at doing housework and waitressing. In 1946 she moved with Bill to make a home in Flin Flon.
In keeping with Edith’s wishes she was cremated and buried December 12, 2014 beside the love of her life. Dadson Funeral Home & Crematorium of Flin Flon was entrusted with the arrangements.
