Creighton Kodiaks basketball star Leland Feuerstein will soon head south for a provincial all-star game - and in doing so, will make history for his school.

The finals are over and the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN) Selects came up short, being swept by Peguis and losing their shot at the league title. The team will now focus on hosting a regional junior B tournament later this month.

The Bombers' second-round playoff opponent will be a very familiar one. Flin Flon will collide with the Battlefords North Stars for the sixth time in the last eight playoffs.

Semifinals, here we come. The Bombers took the brooms out in Kindersley Wednesday night, surviving a late push to win 2-1 and sweep the Klippers.

The Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN) Selects are heading to the KJHL finals. PBCN swept the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (NCN) Flames Saturday in Thompson, winning 5-1 and earning a spot in the championship series for the first time.

Flin Flon got right back where they started from Tuesday, beating Kindersley 5-2 and snagging a 3-0 series lead.

The Bombers got a win and made a statement Saturday night, routing Kindersley 8-0 and taking a 2-0 series lead.

The Bombers gave the Whitney Forum a good reason to rock Friday night, with Flin Flon taking a 4-0 win in Game 1 over Kindersley.

A trio of Bomber players and personnel were named as best of the best of the SJHL this season.
