Eve Edmonds

Eve Edmonds is the editor of the Richmond News. She has been working in journalism for 30 years and has a Master's in Journalism from Carleton University. Before starting at the Richmond News, Eve worked at the Ottawa Sun and Medicine Hat News. She has also freelanced at CBC Radio and the Vancouver Sun.

Eve's goal at the Richmond News is to create a hub where community conversations can be had. Be it about affordable housing, environmental initiatives or the latest public art project, she aims to create space where an array of voices are heard, considered and debated.

In her weekly column, she discusses everything from global issues, to municipal politics, to family vacations, making the personal political and connecting local stories to larger questions relevant to all citizens of the world.
