The competition was good at the Norman Regional for figure skating, but that didn't stop the Flin Flon club from making an impression. Seven skaters qualified for provincials leaving coach Carla Wabick happy considering how tired she was at the end. "They did wonderful," Wabick said. "They all skated up to expectations. Beyond expectations. One of the girls who impressed Wabick was Amanda Hill, who performed all her components of the triathlon. She was so good, Wabick said that evaluators gave very positive feedback. Amanda Hill, Annalee Stevens, Rikki Crone, Kara Rutley, Mikayla Gawiak, Shilo Baribeau and Dayle Nivon will be going on to Provincials in Steinbach March 3, 4 and 5.
