You win some, you lose some. The Bombers lost a Saturday night showdown to the Yorkton Terriers despite a blizzard of shots.

Little offence took place in the opening frame, aside from a couple of posts hit by the Bombers. Finally, five minutes into the second, Cole Rafuse found a puck sitting in the slot and poked it home, giving Flin Flon a 1-0 lead.

After that, the Terriers got to work. League scoring leader Chantz Petruic went five-hole on Bomber goalie Jacob Delorme to tie things up, sending the game into the third deadlocked. In the third period, things fell apart for the Bombers. Ryan Ries pickpocketed Mason Martin on a Bomber powerplay, going back and scoring a shorthanded goal on a breakaway.

Ries' goal stood as the gamewinner, though both he and Petruic would add empty netters in the last minute to ice the night.

Delorme made 33 saves in the Bomber crease, but Yorkton goalie Ryan Ouellette was the star of the night, making 47 saves on 48 Bomber shots.

The Bombers will play a pair of home games Nov. 14-15 against Humboldt and Notre Dame.
