Further to Wednesday’s article on the Bombers’ trade deadline moves, prospect William Trarback was also shipped from Flin Flon to Kindersley.

The Bombers sent Trarback and Josh Hayward to the Klippers in exchange for a 2017 first-round pick and a player development fee. Flin Flon also traded Isaac Tkakchuk to Kindersley in exchange for a player development fee.

Trarback is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound defenceman from Macrorie, Saskatche-wan. The 16-year-old has four goals, nine points and 38 penalty minutes through 28 games this season for the Beardy’s Blackhawks of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League.

Bombers head coach and general manager Mike Reagan said the dearth of significant deals was not for a lack of trying.

“We made aggressive offers for two different forwards,” he told Bombers.ca. “At the end of the day, they weren’t moved, and we couldn’t make any trades.”
