Seems like Melville can't catch a break against the Flin Flon Bombers - the maroon and white beat the Millionaires for the third time in a week Saturday.

The Bombers came away with a 4-3 win after a closely-fought tilt at the Whitney Forum Saturday night.

Daylan Marchi kicked off the scoring within a minute of the opening horn, beating Mils goalie Berk Berkeliev for his seventh goal of the season. Halfway through, Vincent Nardone found the net himself, giving the Bombers a 2-0 lead.

Dayton Heino shut the momentum down, getting Melville on the board, but Brandson Hein scored late in the first to make it 3-1 Bombers after 20.

Caleb Moretz picked up where his teammates left off in the second, banging one past Berkeliev.

Then, Melville started to claw back into the game. Ryan Heino scored to cut the lead in half, then Payton Jerome scored his first junior goal to make it a one goal game.

Despite the Millionaires' best efforts to tie the game in the third, the Bomber defence and Pierce Diamond stood tall. Diamond made 43 saves to earn his third win of the week, while Berkeliev made 33 saves in the loss.

The Bombers will be back in action next weekend, playing two home games against Kindersley.
