Make it two wins in two nights for the Flin Flon Bombers. The team took down La Ronge for the second straight night Saturday, winning 4-1.

After a scoreless first, the Ice Wolves kicked off the scoring, with Kyle Ford giving La Ronge the lead at the game's halfway point. It didn't take long for the Bombers to respond, with Donavan Houle-Villeneuve scoring his fifth goal in five periods so far this season.

With the game tied going into the third, the Bombers' first line went to work. Cole Rafuse and Alec Malo each scored their first goals in Bomber sweaters, with Rafuse adding another goal for good measure.

Ice Wolves captain Ben Manson was assessed 12 minutes in penalties for a hit to the head in the third peiod, while both La Ronge's Spencer Kennedy and Rafuse received unsportsmanlike conduct penalties late in the period.

Jacob Delorme stood tall in the Bomber net, only giving up one goal on the night, while La Ronge's Steven Bacovsky took the L for the home team.

Through two games, the Bombers' first line of Houle-Villeneuve, Rafuse and Malo have been lethal. Both Houle-Villeneuve and Refuse have six points through the first two games, while Malo has five points. The trio are currently ranked one, two and three in SJHL scoring through the season's opening weekend.

The Bombers will be back in action Sept. 20 and 21 with a pair of home games against the Humboldt Broncos.
