The Bombers are back in the win column, grabbing a 5-4 home win against rivals La Ronge.

Chrystopher Collin started the Bombers off with a power play goal midway through the first. Caleb Franklin continued with a goal seconds later, with Collin adding another power play marker shortly before the buzzer sounded.

Starting the second with a 3-0 lead, the Bombers had momentum out of the gate but gave up an early goal to La Ronge - Antoine Dumoulin opened the scoring for the Ice Wolves. Collin finished off his hat-trick halfway through the period, restoring the Bombers' three-goal lead.

La Ronge circled the wagons in the third, with both Zach Bannister and Dalton Dosko beating Bomber goalie Jacob Delorme to pull the Ice Wolves within one. However, Collin wasn't satisfied with a hat trick - he slipped in his fourth of the night past La Ronge netminder Jordan Frey, insuring the win. Jake Gudjonson scored late for La Ronge, but the game ended firmly in the hands of the Bombers.

Delorme snagged a 34-save win for the Bombers, while Frey got quite a workout in the Ice Wolves crease, making 55 saves on a night when Flin Flon fired a shot every minute on average.

The win snaps a three game losing skid for the Bombers, who will be back in action Saturday night at home against Melfort.
