Four up, four down. The Flin Flon Bombers will come back north having beaten all comers on their recent southern road trip, sweeping it all by beating Weyburn 4-2 Saturday night.

Bomber scoring leader Alec Malo was out of the lineup, as were forward Chase Haygarth and defender Jack Michell, but the changes meant little to the result of the game. After a scoreless second period, Connor Pyne gave the Red Wings a lead, but Cole Rafuse and Dane Hirst followed up with a pair of quick goals for the Bombers.

Donavan Houle-Villeneuve added to the lead early in the third, making it 3-1. Weyburn's Liam Rutten brought the Wings within one, but that was as close as the home team would get. Hirst would add an empty-netter with a dozen seconds left.

Jacob Delorme had a slow night in the Bomber net, making 20 saves and getting the win. Weyburn's Noah Decottignies, on the other hand, was shelled, making 47 saves.

The Bombers beat Melville, Notre Dame, Estevan and the Wings in five nights, earning all eight possible points during an undefeated road trip. The Bombers' hot streak sits them firmly atop the Sherwood Division with 43 points, ahead of Melfort's 37, La Ronge's 33 and Nipawin's 32. Only the juggernaut Battlefords North Stars, sitting first with 52 points, are ahead of the Bombers in the standings.

The Bombers will be back in action in La Ronge Dec. 6, then again the next night at home against Nipawin. Flin Flon will play seven more games before the holiday break, finishing with a home game versus La Ronge Dec. 21.
