Have you ever wanted to have an igloo sleepover with your friends, but weren’t prepared to travel far up north to try it out?

A company called Westcoast Adventures allows you to experience building and sleeping in this unique accommodation without having to travel great distances.

In fact, the popular adventure company picks clients up from the Whistler Village, which is located roughly an hour and a half drive from downtown Vancouver. As such, you may opt to spend part of your journey in Whistler beforehand, or you may simply start with the igloo adventure.

Adventure 5 takes guests to the company’s snowmobile cabin which is located in the beautiful Callaghan Valley. From here, they are swept away on an exhilarating snowmobile ride through the forest before they are met by an ‘igloo team.’ Next, you are invited to build your own igloo in a breathtaking snow meadow using an ancient method passed down to us by the Innuit.

After you finish your day of exploration, the team builds a snow kitchen where guests are invited to enjoy a gourmet dinner with fine wine by the campfire under the stars. What’s more, the igloos are complete with sheepskins, toasty winter sleeping bags and candlelight, which guarantees that guests have a cozy stay.

The next day guests are taken on another whirlwind snowmobile ride back to Whistler Village, completing their magical adventure.
