Don’t be afraid to take some risks. Not to say you should go diving off random cliffs, but the odd leap of faith is what usually leads to the best stuff in life.
Knowing yourself and having enough faith in yourself to trust your gut on a long shot is the kind of thing that builds a life where you have a lot fewer regrets than constantly playing it safe.
Taking a risk means sometimes things won’t work out, so cultivate and maintain relationships with people who will be there for you when things go wrong. You can bounce back from just about anything if you have the right people in your corner.

I can’t think of anything more exciting than a high school graduation.
Reaching the 12-year milestone in your education is a major turning point in your life and one to be justifiably proud of. You have shown that you have the right stuff to succeed in any vocation you choose.
There will still be challenges, particularly if one goes on to university, whereby the approach to learning is vastly different to what a student is used to in high school, but it gets easier with perseverance.
My advice: Give yourself a big pat on the back for a job well done. You have earned it.

Mark Twain had some great advice. Here are a few of his best:
“It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”
“You can’t depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.”
“Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.”
“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”
“Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.”
“If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.”
