Dear Editor, To me the NOR-MAN Regional Health Authority CEO was very quiet during the recent public forum. Is something bothering him? Why are they putting people from Sherridon, Grand Rapids, Pukatawagan, etc., on the NRHA board? They don't know anything about the Flin Flon Hospital. So what are they doing representing Flin Flon Hospital? You could hardly hear the CEO talking on the microphone, very quiet. To me he did not answer the questions like a "true" CEO Ð "loud and clear." The NRHA is trying to tell the public to have faith in them, that they are doing a good job. The CEO and board will work it out with you. This is a joke. By the way, I hear that there will be a crane and helicopter service from outside the hospital to the roof of the hospital, then down to the third floor by chute to the new clinic. Very fast service. Therefore I think, due to having dealt with the public for over 50 years myself, the whole NRHA should resign and Flin Flon Hospital should go back to their own board made up of people from Flin Flon. And we will get the doctors we need. Also Dr. Kucparic and Dr. Sethi will be back in the hospital. So bye-bye CEO and staff, hello new Flin Flon Hospital board. People that get elected to these important boards should at least have a Grade 12 education. Oh, by the way, I hear Carman, Man., is having trouble with their RHA and board and some doctors have started their own clinic. Keep your doors open, Scott Davidson and staff. As for the new clinic in the hospital, it's crazy. What happens if a person is very sick with the flu or a disease that spreads fast? They go into the hospital, go to the elevators to third floor to the clinic. How many people is this patient passing to get to the clinic (20 or 30)? A very bad epidemic might start and everybody in the hospital will get sick over this one sick person. If the clinic is where it is now, this would not happen because it is outside the hospital. Also, with all the room the hospital has, what are they doing on Church St. for offices. Get back in the hospital where the offices belong. Donald Raddysh Creighton
