Dear Editor, I am not normally one to voice my opinions publicly; however, anger has compelled me to do so today. I find this public bickering over the "new/old" clinic disgraceful. Just another example of how badly this NRHA board needs to go. They are obviously not interested in listening to the public's concerns, but in defending their stance. Personally I could give a rat's behind what building I get my health services from, but that I get quality health services at all! In the almost five years I have been a Flin Flon resident, our family of four has yet to find a family doctor (for a variety of reasons, but no reasons of our choosing!!). I personally was a recent patient of Dr. Groenwald's and he had agreed to at least see myself and my special needs son. His passing has left us without a long-term physician. This is important for any patient's continuity of care; however, it is even more critical for our son, in order for him to receive the specialized care he may need. So my point is this: the NRHA needs to listen to the public, fess up to their mistakes, and most important to our family is the need to find and keep quality doctors for our community. If they cannot do these things in a timely manner, then get the hell out and let in people who can. Sincerely, Lori Neault Flin Flon
