My Take on Snow Lake: New property rule established

At a recent council meeting, the Town of Snow Lake adopted a new policy on extensions with respect to development on town property.

At a recent council meeting, the Town of Snow Lake adopted a new policy on extensions with respect to development on town property.

From March 15 forward, all people who purchase vacant town property for development must meet the deadlines of their individual agreements or the property will become available to all potential developers for a new two-year agreement when the term expires; the town will no longer grant extensions to development agreements.

Those who haven’t built to Town spec by the end of their current extension, well, those properties will also become available to any potential developers when their extension runs out.

My Take on Snow Lake is published on Fridays.
