The second meeting on Snow Lake’s 2016 budget took place last month in the council chambers.
Present were Mayor Kim Stephen, Deputy Mayor Richard Jones, councillors Jodie Wilson and Robin Turnbull, and Chief Administrative Officer Jordan Willner. Councillors Brenda Forsyth and Peter Roberts were absent.
The mayor called the meeting to order and noted that on the authority of council, the administration sought public opinion on a number of predetermined topics during the fall of 2015.
A ratepayer survey was conducted both through general mail-out and electronically available through the Town of Snow Lake’s Facebook page and website.
The survey results were reviewed and will be taken into consideration for the development of the budget. The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 pm, an hour after beginning, on Jan. 21.
