Snow Lake’s Mining Museum held its Seniors’ Day on Tuesday, July 28 with 39 of the community’s most precious assets in attendance.
Museum board chairman Paul Hawman advised that Bob Forsyth set the day up and Clair Pilgrim handled the barbeque, offering up five and a half dozen hot dogs, passing them out free of charge.
Additionally, Mona Forsyth provided some wonderful homemade baking that all in attendance enjoyed.
“Mini tours were held to show off the new exhibits that are being set up and everyone seemed to enjoy something to do out of the rain,” said Hawman of the event.
“As usual, Dori [Forsyth] had everything ready to go and it went off without a hitch,” he added.
Hawman said that the board was appreciative of all who attended, and they hope to see everyone out when they do it all again next year!
