Thank you for the honour to once again represent our North in Parliament.
Over the 78 days of the election and over the previous [seven] years, I had the opportunity to visit throughout the Churchill-Keewatinook Aski riding on a regular basis.
I have always been struck by the degree to which, despite all the challenges in our riding, there is so much potential. The key is our people.
My key focus as MP will continue to be to speak out on the need to support and respect the peoples of our North.
I will be speaking out on health, education, housing, infrastructure, flood mitigation, protecting our environment, saving the Bay line and Port of Churchill, the need for an inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women, support to our fishers, saving Canada Post, promoting economic development and many more issues.
As MP my commitment is to continue to speak out for all our North. To continue to fight for social and economic justice for all northern and Aboriginal people and all Canadians.
