Dear Editor,
To those of you who were not able to get out and view the Memory Candle displays at Hillside, East Hillside, Ross Park and South Main cemeteries last Sunday – you missed a fabulous display.
The sight of hundreds of candles flickering in the dark was awesome and magical. The love for, and the esteem in which our loved ones who have passed away are held, is incredible.
The weatherman co-operated this year – the weather and wind conditions couldn’t have been better.
